My BIGGEST fear..
No matter how brave you are, be it superman, xena the warrior princess, Hang Tuah or any superheroes in the whole wide world, you must have your fear towards something.. or a softspot which could b a good threats for an opponent to attack. Being a normal human beings who wears underwear inside my pants and not wearing a piece of worn cloth wrapped around my body like a tarzan, hell i have a lot of fears.. and people say to overcome the fear is to face the fear..
We were having dinner until someone came into the cafe with something that made me go eeeiiiuuwww!! hell no i will get myself near that thing! NO WAY!! nada!! Nehi! Mudiyaathu!!!

when i look at the sky again..
As I gaze upon the sky, i see happiness, sadness, spirit, jovialness. Making some connection with my emotions and feelings, i just can't stop looking at it with mixed feelings. My intuitive mind started seeing and picturizing images. Sometimes, a shape of cat curling, sillhouette of a woman lying down, bits of pop corns falling down from the sky.. i sometimes relate it with my current mood. God knows what i'm thinking inside.. me and my unbounded imaginations..heheh. Be it morning, day or night..
Sky..
as you show your sincere mood upon your face,
The truth of life will reveal..
You're just being sincere.. sarcasm is not your middle name..
But please don't hide the bright cheery light and turn my day into a black doom.. ouh sky..
ps: i love the dusk as much as the dawn, i fall in love everytime i see the tint of ray hidden beneath the sky..

A day in Taman Mini Indonesia..
This is gonna be my last thread of photo blog for jakarta. Hafta admit it takes a lot of work to go through hundreds and hundreds of photos and pick only the good one. I might be planning another trip to indonesia.. but this time the destination is gonna be medan and bukit tinggi. But its still under careful scheduling. Everything depends on my work. I'm not sure whether i afford to take another leave. See how it goes lah! But more weekend travelling will be done after this and the aim is to cover more places in malaysia.. the forest, gunungs and nature!
Met a new activity partner and i'll be doing more outdoor activity after this. Stay put..

a taste of jakarta..
Some people say, if you wanna taste a cup of indonesia, talk their language, eat their food, live their life, adapt and respect their culture and appreciate them as they are.. and thats what we did.. without any complains.. drink on a chipped cup & saucer (argh! forget about the malay supersticious), breathe not-so-fresh air, seeing those unfortunate people on the streets.. thats a new experience we learnt! Be grateful of what we have..and not forgeting some new vocabularies too!

A place to remember..
I needed a vacation and i did it. My trip to jakarta was awesome despite the first goal was to relax my soul and take bunch of good photos of places and people turned into a tiring but exciting shopping experience! Lets not talk about the shopping spree first. I did an accomodation booking in advance before flying to jakarta. We wanted to find a nice B&B which has nice ambience and close to nature place to stay... and of course cheap! As we all know the hotels in jakarta are expensive (and for god's sake i'm not having a romantic honeymoon with hot scented aromatherapy bath in an exquisite bath tub.. and for another strong reason i'm not bringing any male companion for god's sake! so why should i spend fortune for just a place to sleep??) The place we booked called Tamara Guesthouse, a nice backpacker hostel located in a central jakarta (its not really central as it costs us around Rp.160,000 approx. RM80 by taxi to get there!! cut throat, huh?)
The flight took us about an hour an we reached the guesthouse about noon. It took a bit of a maze-solving for a senior cab driver to get there. That shows how secluded the place was. We were quite skeptic as the taxi brought us to quite a quiet alley that led us to a tall green solid gate. The gate was covered and we didn't get the chance to peep in. For a safety precaution we asked the cabby to stay in case we got it all wrong. We knocked the tall metal green gate and saw a middle aged chap with only sarong was washing a classic car. He led us in and the moment we stepped into the guest house we were amazed with the interior of the low-profile and descent look of it from outside. The building is actually quite big and it was exactly what we wanted it to be! Its more than a good place to unwind for an approx Rp140,000 (RM50) price and the rate is even cheaper than the cab fare!!. The place is owned by a beautiful Ausee with an Israelian heritage lady. The rooms were basically occupied with expatriates all over the world whose stay for a longer duration. I have no words to describe abut the place.. but for a city girl who loves nature and enjoy simple life like me.. it was a great experience! check out these pics :
